The Tempus1800 connection module is designed with the future in mind. It is compatible with laboratory automation systems, including high-throughput loaders and sorters that are already installed or planned for implementation in your laboratory.
Connection with all automated laboratory devices
The connection module offers numerous advantages and enables one-touch automated handling of sample tubes – fewer manual steps, no physical contact with the tubes, and overall faster and safer handling.
In cases of high-volume sample transport over longer distances, a braking module can be added to increase sample flow and ensure flawless tube insertion.
How does it work?
Tubes are transported from hospital departments to the laboratory through a dedicated point-to-point system in just a few seconds. Before reaching the automated module, they are gently slowed down and are immediately ready to continue toward a high-throughput loader or sorter. From there, they are automatically transferred, for example, to a conveyor belt.
